The classic sunflower! Tall with big blooms! High as the sky. Plus it produces lots of yummy, healthy seeds, but can you get them before the birds do? Sow when danger of frost has passed. Cover seed 1/2" deep in prepared soil and pack down firmly. When plants are 3" tall, thin to 18-24" apart. Water during dry periods. Full sun is best.
